Privacy Policy


ADHD-HOPE Coaching (ABN 6263 432 8632) upholds your right to be informed, consenting and have your personal information protected in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988.  Information is collected with your consent and will be held as confidential. This may include your name and contact details, health information, other services providers involved in your care, billing information, ongoing coaching notes and email communications. Coaching notes are de-identified and you are able to have access to your information upon your request. Zoom calls are not recorded without your consent.

ADHD-HOPE Coaching obtains information related to minors (16 & 17)  from parents and/or guardians. 

Digital protection of your information submitted on the ADHD-HOPE website are protected via security management systems provided by Web Ideas https://www.web-ideas.com.au/.  

ADHD-HOPE Coaching will take reasonable precautions to protect your personal details against loss, unauthorised access, disclosure, misuse or modification. It is kept securely and accessible only to authorised personnel. Information is kept in accordance with our legal record keeping obligations and then destroyed appropriately. We will only disclose your sensitive information for the purpose for which you gave it to us or for directly related purposes that you would reasonably expect or if you otherwise agree.

​Limits of Confidentiality

​If the ADHD Coach is of the reasonable belief that there is a serious risk to life, health or safety, then safety will supersede confidentiality. Where possible the ADHD Coach will inform you of the intention to involve another service for safety reasons. Information can also be shared when it is required or authorised by law. ​This can include where we are of the reasonable belief that there is a serious risk to life, health or safety of you or another person. For example, if there is evidence of clear danger of harm to self and/or others, we may be legally required to report this information to the authorities responsible for ensuring safety. This includes if there is a strong suspicion of physical or sexual abuse or emotional, or neglect or exposure to family violence of any person under 18 years of age. A court order could also require the us to release information contained in records.
